I’m really surprised! Come to think of it, I can’t suggest a single evaluation conducted/managed by me that has led to a change in people’s lives or change in a programme or policy, at best they have led to a change in some strategies alone and helped the commissioning organisation identify best practices for replication or show casing their work.
Would love to see what % of evaluators feel this way (pls. do a survey)? The call for Evaluation Stories is such a good indicator of “Useful Evaluations”

The Call for Evaluation Stories is intended to flush out and share those positive stories as well as to broaden the vision and the mandate for evaluation. Afterall, it wasn’t that long ago when there was no expectation for evaluators to address evaluation use or evaluation capacity building.
