Results of the International Call for Evaluation Stories

The International Call for Evaluations that Make a Difference (Oct 2013 – Apr 2014) resulted in 61 fascinating submissions. Thank you to all who participated! Your submissions have helped us better understand how evaluations can contribute to making a positive difference in people’s lives.

Ten submissions were selected* to participate in the Story Development Phase (Sep 2014 – March 2015). Evaluations that Make a Difference: Stories from around the world will be published  in English, French and Spanish during EvalYear 2015.

More to come from the Evaluation Stories Project

  1. Evaluation storytelling techniques will be piloted, strengthened and shared through this website to help you write your own evaluation stories.
  2. An open discussion of criteria for identifying evaluations that make a difference and implications for the evaluator’s role will be initiated through our blog.
  3. An analysis of factors contributing to the ability of an evaluation to make a positive difference will be shared.
